Creator Submission & License Agreement
Version 2026-10-10-draft
DRAFT. This document is a working draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before submissions open.
In plain English
- You promise you own or have permission for everything in your film: images, people, voices, music, fonts, logos.
- You keep ownership. You give us a non-exclusive license to stream and promote it.
- Real people need a signed release; cloned voices need written consent.
- Submission fees: $15 per short, $25 per feature or episode (when switched on). Scripts and ideas are free.
- A first rejection for quality gets one free second try. Fees are forfeited for policy or rights violations, or after a second failure.
- If your film causes a legal claim, you are responsible for it.
1. Rights warranty
You confirm that you created the work or have written permission for every part of it, including every image, person, likeness, voice, music track, sound, font and logo, and that the AI tools and plan you used allow commercial distribution. You will show us proof on request.
2. Real people and voices
Anyone identifiable (face, body or voice) must have signed a Model/Likeness Release you upload with the film. Cloned or synthetic voices of real people need their written consent. At launch, real people may appear clothed only; 18-tier nudity is allowed only for fully fictional characters, and every character must be and look adult.
3. License to us
You keep ownership. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, stream, transcode, rate, caption and display the work on AIMoovies.com and our related sites, and to make trailers, clips, thumbnails and promotional material from it. [Lawyer: term, territory, withdrawal notice period.]
4. Review, rating and removal
We may accept, reject, re-rate or remove any work. Submissions go through an automated pre-screen and then human review. Approved shorts entered for voting appear on AIMoovies.com for viewer voting.
5. Revenue share
Approved creators share subscription revenue as set out in the payout schedule [Ron to set: pool %, minutes-watched formula, payout minimum]. Payouts run through Stripe Connect, which collects tax forms.
6. Submission fees
When fees are switched on: $15 per short (including shorts for voting) and $25 per feature or series episode, paid before submitting. Scripts and ideas are free. An approved creator's fee is credited against their first earnings. If a film is rejected for quality or fit, you may resubmit the same title once without paying again. The fee is forfeited if the film is rejected for a policy or rights violation, or if the second try is also rejected. Chargebacks of fees may close the account.
7. Indemnity
If a claim is made against us because of your work or a broken promise in this Agreement, you will cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees.
8. AI disclosure
Titles are labelled "Made with AI". You will tell us honestly which tools you used.
9. General
You are 18 or older and agree to sign electronically. Michigan law applies. This Agreement works together with the Terms of Use and Content Policy.
